Olha Svyntozelska, MD, MSc (Epidemiology) candidate

Université Laval (Quebec)
Originally from Ukraine, I have graduated with a Doctor of Medicine diploma from Zaporizhzhia State Medical University (Ukraine) in 2021. In the autumn of 2021, I began my studies at the Master's Program in Epidemiology at Université Laval (Québec, Canada) under the supervision of Annie LeBlanc, Ph.D. Currently, I am largely interested in the equality and equity in the access to health care services, especially within primary health care and the organization of healthcare in general. I am also assisting in the MAVIPAN project (My life and the pandemic in Quebec) led by Dr. LeBlanc and working on the recognition of my medical degree in Canada to continue my education with the Canadian medical residency in the family medicine. My previous scientific experiences include participation in projects aimed to study arterial hypertension, psychological adaptation to stress as well as shared decision making.
